Cristina Fraire is a Senior Partner at PGA, she’s an Italian and European Patent Attorney, and a Certified European Patent Litigator as well.

During these years, Cristina has aquired a sound experience in managing patent matters as both in house and external counsel, especially in the fields of pharmaceuticals, materials for tires and food packaging.

From 1989 to 1996 Cristina worked at Pierrel and Zambon as researcher, particularly on antilipidemic, antihypertensive and antimycotic drugs and is author/inventor of several scientific papers and patent applications.

In 1997 Cristina started her patent counseling activity in IP department of Zambon Group, and then moved to private practice working for international (2000 Frohwitter) and national (2001-2004 Dragotti & Associati) patent firms. Later she moved back to in house counsel activity for Recordati Pharmaceutical Group (2005-2009) and for Sealed Air/Cryovac (2009 to 2012) where she took the position of European Patent Manager.

Cristina joined PGA in 2012. Her practice covers every aspect of the patent profession, from patent drafting and prosecution, to mastering complex opinion work and managing opposition and appeal proceedings. She operates in the Milan and Legnano offices.
